I think that's the most poorly executed wiring job I've ever seen!! Hopefully that's the only part of the truck's wiring that they messed with.

So I pull the deck to find this...:dammit:

Here is the finished product of the afternoon.

I really like the polished Racelines. I thought about getting those exact same wheels for my '97. Seeing them on your rig gives me a good idea of what they would have looked like, and they would have looked good!

Well since there is no lock out tool that I was able to find for the crank pully bolt... I made a simple one of my own :bigok:

Worked awesome without any deflection. I inserted the bolted into the open holes on the crank pully, and rotated the bar around untill it was pinned against the drivers side frame rail. Put my 3 1/2 ft jack handle over my 1/2" breaker bar and gave it a nice steady pull. Popped it free with no sweat. now I just need a 250ft/lb torque wrench to get it torqued to spec when I reinstall it.

Should be able to get the heads pulled this weekend and hopefully start getting things back together before Monday.

As far as I can tell, that is all that was messed with. Best part though was the main power lead for the amp that was ran under the cab, ziptied to the fuel lines, and ran through a hole in the trunk floor with the only rub protection being a couple wraps of electrical tape around where it came through the drilled hole...... :nono:

Ya it was a big issue waiting to happen.... Now it is ran through the cab under the door trim and paneling... The way it should be.

Ya the polished renegades were always a first choice. Awesome clean looking wheel that really makes the paint scheme pop at a very decent price.

Need to get the sliders on first before I take it out with the limited ground clearance. Haven't decided whether I'm going to install the 2.5" daystar kit right now or not.

Hey 130 shipped for a lift to clear tires, and gain some breakover clearance. Ill take it haha.

It will be 3 linked front and rear on 2.5" remote resi 14 or 16" SAW's up front with 12" 2.5 SAW shocks in the rear with some lift springs. I have my 38x14.5x16 toyo MT's on hutchinson border patrol double beadlocks sitting and waiting. 97 F350 D60 and 14 bolt just need to be finished up. Lock for the front and rear diff setup (5.38's and Detroit).

Should be a very capable setup once its finished up.

For now I just want to get the armor taken care of and wheel it till i can afford the swap. If I can rock the 305's no lift I will probably just stick with this setup and sell the Daystar kit.

Lots of plans coming but working on planning a wedding right now with the fiance and trying to get some debt paid down it may be a little while. Trying to get the 06 paid off by the end of the year too.

No long travel. That was the next step.
Its just on Camburg upper arms, 2.5" SAW's and TC lift spindles in the front.

Held off on the LT as the stock arms still let me run faster than i felt comfortable going. Shocks were still in check and not too hot so I left the setup as is. Its more on daily driver/ towing duties now.

Thanks for the compliments. The motor is coming slowly but surely. The heads are off and the clean up starts today.

Can't wait to get this thing back together so I can drive it.

Head bolts should be here today so hopefully I can make some quick progress and get this thing back together to start driving it.

Should be ordering front and rear bumpers this week or next. Appointment for getting the sliders welded on set for the 17th of next month. After that its wheeling at Hollister that next weekend, then the following is the Pismo Jambo.

Finally got the Motor back together. Pulled it out of the garage tonight. Just need to get the tags and i will be ready to rock. Planning on heading out to Hollister on Sunday if all goes well. Who's up to go?

Well first trip out to Hollister was awesome with just a minor bit of damage.... :cry

4runner did great but I see a couple areas that could use some attention.
- Steering rack bushings need to be changed.
- Need to get some longer rear shocks (My 2006's should work out well as they are about 1.5" longer)
- Figure out why the E-locker is not engaging.
- I need a trans cooler as it started to slip at the end of the day.
- More trimming of the rear of the front fenders.

Anyways. All in all a great trip and I was really happy with how it performed.
