Here are some pictures from Hollister Sunday. Thanks to all that took them.
Beautiful weather but a bit sloppy. What better way to end the year that a bit of wheelin right?

Not there 10 minutes and had to winch myself out hahaha. Too bad I still haven't figured out the rear locker issue yet. Could have walked right through it if it had been locked...
Headed out to the quarry next for some fun and to try tackling some new lines.

Beautiful weather but a bit sloppy. What better way to end the year that a bit of wheelin right?

Next up was a line that I didn't think I had a chance in hell to get up. After a couple tries i was walking it no problem. No wheel spin at all.
Headed out to the obstacle courses next for a little fun.
Was lined up to attempt the frame twister
But realized it was too deep with all the recent rain and used my good judgement and backed out...
All in all it was a great day with good friends. I was able to use my winch for the first time which worked flawless. Once on my own recovery and one time to give a little tug to mike who got high centered.
Items I need to still address is get some belly skids haha. My gas tank is taking a beating. Thankfully Any7 is almost finished with mine so I should be good there. Next up is the IFS skids all the way back. Suspension will be coming soon with the sale of my trailer. I really am in need of a little more lift for a few lines. I just hope it isn't so stiff that I can't flex it out like I have been.
And lastly, figure out what the heck is going on with the locker issue. I opened it up and it is pristine. I bench tested it and it worked fine. Hook it up and nothing.... I need to get in there and check out the actual relays to make sure they haven't failed or something.

Its getting there. Hopefully will be getting the highlift mount welded up after work and the flag and CB mounts.
Still need to figure out how im gonna strap down the pop up canopy though... Gonna take some head scratching for that one. Really not sure about D rings on the inside because I don't want them to be rattling around when not in use. Also I need to consider the strapping method. Maybe just a couple D rings or solid Rings welded to the inside and just take a ratchet strap around the side tubes then back to the other one. Its only about 3" from floor to top of side tube so it might work. Gonna look at it more today when i'm welding up the other stuff.

Ya of course.
As soon as im done welding up the different tabs and mounts it will be painted like I did my bumpers and sliders. Flat black base with a satin clear.
Looks like great quality though.

One nice thing that I think will help in the long run is that I will still be able to mount the factory cross supports that sit on the roof. Should help with keeping things supported and not flex too much.

Probably not. I can mount some slim LED bars but I think im just going the wind fairing route and calling it done. No need for more lights really right now.

Looks sick Todd, I'm excited to see your ideas for the tabs and mounts.
I used a couple pairs of quick fist clamps for my shovel and axe mounts. I also have all the hardware I need for my 48" Hi-Lift mount. Just using some shock bushings, bolts, and wing nuts to keep it rattle free and secure up there.

Well for the hilift mount im just using one of the basic hilift mounts you can get at 4wheelparts. I will be cutting it down once I find the best location for it and how I want to mount it. Ideally it will be mounted laying flat on the inside or hanging off the side. I think for stability and leverage though it would be better inside. the question will be whether it will be laying flat on the inside or at an angle.
