Creaking steering

Hey all, this just sort of developed recently...

It only happens when at a standstill or going very slowly. Any thoughts?

My steering fluid is pretty dark so I’ve been working on draining and refilling that anyway. My outer tie rods seem solid when my wheels are off the ground. No idea about my lbjs or inner tie rods.

Spray some oil on the uniball of your UCA's and see if it goes away. Pretty sure that is what is causing your noise.

Oh that would be amazing. I hear triflow or any other dry Teflon lube is what I need to use on the uniballs. Thanks man!

In case anyone else with squeaky uniballs (heh) comes across this problem, I can confirm lubing them up solved it. I used triflow and sprayed the top of the balls, moved the wheel back and forth and it still made noise. I sprayed the bottom and moved the wheel and it got a lot better and went away. I wiped the dirt and gunk off the balls first before I sprayed them.

Hope I did it right.
