Cruise control not so good.

I rarely use cruise control in CA due to the traffic density and crap drivers. But on a recent trip to AZ in light traffic and long straight stretches I used it extensively with great results. I discovered a feature that was new to me. If you bump up the CC stalk it increases the speed setting by 1 MPH for each bump. It works in the down direction also, decreasing the setting by 1 MPH. That way I could make minor smooth adjustments to the speed without hitting the accelerator.
I probably would have known about this feature if I read the user manual, but you know...

If they go to a 10 speed tranny next redesign of the 4Runner, that would help with this cruise issue.

Just got done w/ a 1200mi trip from South NM to South MS with a 5x10 cargo trailer and back seats folded w/ rear area full. Cruise was non-existent, I gave it one try and the first time RPMs shot up to 5000+ going up a hill it didn't get used again. My right leg is still recovering.
