are the back up and turn led or plain bulb?

i would love to make one with the 3watt l.e.d. from a maglight
to where the turn, back up, and brake. were all led
 
Wow, those look absolutely sick. I love the instant on instant off look of LED's. To me it seems like the stock turn signals are almost LED-quick, especially at night. But that is a mod I am definately going to look into

Yeah the turn signal & reverse lights are not LED. These are made to be like the 06-08 4Runner LED tails. So if you like those, then you'll like these. I know I do...

but i agree, there needs to be a l.e.d. third brake light.

i just need to get myself a pair now and tint the lights out, but leave the backup and turn signals clear :)
 
hmm yeah am sure those led lights looks good but my wifey is kinda upset alittle bit cuz i just bought a laptop .. :bash: but it was a great deal at Best Buy !!! :D Anyhow i'll wait alittle bit longer to get those lights.. maybe next month .. hehe

Yeah maybe Jason can convince them to make an LED 3rd Brake Light..
 
You've tried to convice "Eagle Eyes" to make the LED 3rd Brake Light? Or was it another company? Maybe you could contact them and say.. I'll buy like 200 of the LED 3rd brake lights if you all make them? lol Cause I know there's a lot of people that want a 3rd Brake Light upgrade...
 
lol That's not fair they make LED 3rd brake lights for every other damn vehicle but they can't make one for the 4Runner.. we need to protest/riot or do something... lol
 
Looking at the Tacoma 3rd brake light a little more, it looks as though you would be able to trim the backing, drill a couple screw holes, and/or fabricate a bracket to make the 4runner 3rd brake lens fit over it.

Someone should ask what the dimensions are for the Tacoma 3rd brake light... Length, width, and depth. I know it doesn't screw into the 4runner hatch, but with a little fab work I don't see why it wouldn't.

Looks like the depth might be shallow enough. Not really digging the design, but the price is right.
