I believe that was pfdaxe's post. He mentioned the Tacoma light is short by 1" lengthwise. This is workable with a bracket. Downside is that the light will not be sealed properly.

I found the Tundra dimensions. It's WAY too long.

TOP LENGTH 15 3/4"
WIDTH 2 7/8"
DEPTH 2"

I need to find the dimensions for the 95-04 Tacos, (shorter by 1"), and the current 05-07 years.
 
There's got to be some company out there that will make us an LED 3rd brake light! How can I contact Eagle Eyes.. lol And we need some projector headlights with the Halo ring..

agreed, if they will make projectors for a grand Cherokees they should atleast a 4runner.

They just came out with some for the 07 Tundra's I think I'm goig to order them for my dad.. lol they come with HID's.

But anyways I messaged an EBAY seller that sells a lot of the projector headlights, I duno if he works for the company that makes them or what but I said:

Hey man, I was wondering if you can guys can make some of these halo projector headlights for the 96-02 4Runner's there's a big demand for them on many 4Runner websites and I believe it would be a great seller. There's also a big demand for an LED 3rd Brake Light. A lot of 3rd Generation 4Runner owners are running HID's with no projector so that's why I'm asking, get back with me if you can. Thanks.
 
That is if they decide to make them, I sent the same message to several different Ebay sellers. Jason we could use some help from you to!! :bigok: Also how can I contact Eagle Eyes, the company who made the LED tail lights??

I can get you the 07 Tundra lights, let me know.

The problem is with the 4Runner, they only made abotu 100,000 a year, whereas the grand cherokee's, etc, 500,000 a year, so it's hard sometimes to get things made.
 
oh well that makes since then, never knew there was just that many made. i figured there would be more since i see 4runners all the time now
 
Install question

Jason -

I am considering ordering a pair of these tail lights and have an install question.

I have an after-market trailer wiring harness hooked in to my right (or is it left) tail light harness. The brand name escapes me. I do recall it is the plug and play type.

With the LED lights, how is the wiring done? Is it simply unplug, re-plug or is there something else. Can you post a link to the install instructions?

Jason, how much for the 07 Tundra projector headlights, and do they come with HIDs? I noticed some of the sellers on Ebay are including HIDs w/ the headlights.
 
Clear & Smoked LED Tails are now avaiable on Ebay. The smoked ones look sick, but I'm not real crazy about the clear ones.

If I had a black 4runner, I'd pick up the smoked tails.

You'll notice that the smoked tails are the clear LED tails tinted... NOT the original stock 02 housing LED tails tinted. The difference is there is a red plastic cover over the originals.
