CS144 Alternator brand

I've done some research but couldn't find some specifics...

For those of you who have done the CS144 Alternator upgrade, which brand did you go with? Are the parts store brands ( Autozone, O'Reilly, NAPA, etc... ) OK or should I go with OEM? Remanufactured VS new? And last, if I go with OEM which exact GM model is the correct one to use for this project?
