cup holder lights

Somewhere I saw where someone had made a Mod by putting a small white Led light in the cup holde of a 3rd Gen. I cant find that post. anyone have a clue? It was neat because it mounted on the inside of the holder.

instead of posting a new thread I thought I'd use this one and show you my spin on the cup holder LED light Mod.

most of you know I already did this mod a while back but i wasn't satisfied with how it looked so this is what i did

I first went to Home Depot and pick up a couple pieces of plexiglass sheets (if you can find one sheet that is thicker then use that) I just had to make sure it was thick enough to fit an LED into it. I used two sheets and super glued them together

I then used the cup holder insert as a template, cut out the shape with my dremel



I had some of this cheesy carbon fiber sticker stuff that has a reflective backing so i thought this would help with evening the light a little bit

i've got to fine tune it a little, make sure it's all water proof and what not. The rings aren't as bright as the pictures say they are so it makes it really nice in the night. anyway that's what i have so far
