Within a week of owning the runner, i found it comes with an excellent factory cup holder... Put your drink between the passengers' seat belt buckle and back rest. No spills in a year. Fits 12oz cans to 44oz gas station mondo drinks

I usually put mine in the center console. It helps if you have stuff in there so your beverage doesn't slide around.

ya i used my center console for awhile but i just didnt like it and i have never tried putting it between the seat before.

Here is a pic of my cup holder mod. The original owner was a NASA engineer and had access to (or friends in) the metal shop.

It's not the best, as it doesn't fit ALL cup sizes, but I like the location of it :beer:

Or better yet find yerself a hot female to hold your drink for you. There may be an increased chance of spilling, but you win some and you lose some.
