I've been watching ebay for deals on rear cup holders but none have been particularly cheap.
I've found you can get shop pricing for OEM parts from Toyota Parts People. I checked and you can buy the updated rear cup holder for 49.78 (OAK part number - 55604-35040-E0). That's in the range for what a used older design one seems to go for on ebay.
I bought one and the updated design, while not perfect, is much stouter than the original.
I just thought this might help others with busted cup holders.
Incidentally, the parts actually come from Toyota of Puyallup but you can't get the discounted pricing unless you go through the "Toyota Parts People."
