Current full length roof racks?

Im looking to move my light bar to the front of a rack and maybe upgrade to a 100w solar panel and have room for extra storage up top when i need the room.

To make matters worse for you. I'm also going to be an LED light dealer to sell in conjunction with the roof racks, and I'm trying to hook up with Rotopax. Go big or go home!

yikes....the gobi and Baja are nice but out of my price range 900 and 1500
where as a Yakima mega worrior with extension is only 520 shipped ( 74x48) or a curt with extension is 175 ( 62x37)

don't have the skills to build my own

but with any rack for me, I would prefer to somehow mount it direct to the rails, as a rack ontop of stock crossbars is pushing my limit on height

Assuming these are some what affordable, I'd be very interested but drilling would also be a deal killer for me.

No, because I found someone making exactly what I planned on making. I was sourcing parts, and came across someone making Tacoma racks. The racks were a spitting image of what I wanted to do, and now he's making them for 4runner's as well. I actually just purchased a 3/4 length rack from him today, and should have it by early next week.

I'm going to have the second one out there, and the first one on T4R. I'm not sure if he's taking orders yet so I'll leave his information down for now. I'll get some pictures posted up in the near future.

I Was hoping he'd come out with a 3rd gen rack!!! Yes!!! Seriously loved his design on the taco. Can't wait to see how it mounts up and everything

I hope that rack works out for you. [MENTION=82154]GSPRunner[/MENTION] got one over a year ago (after waiting nearly a year) and it was a VERY cool product.

However, once we went to plop it on top of the 4Runner it was VERY clear that a 3rd Gen 4Runner had not been involved in the design process in any way, shape, or form.

It got sent back. You should ask him about it via PM. I bet he'd love to talk about it. And think about it. It's been awhile.

I can see there being issues since this is the first actual 3rd Gen rack he's made. Chances are GSPRunner just received some pre-existing parts that weren't fit to the 3rd Gen, and I could see there being issues with that. There isn't much of a design difference between the 3/4 rack for the 3rd, and the Tacoma rear rack.

We'll see when I get it. I should be able to get it installed next weekend, and I'll get some pictures put up then.

Those look nice. A roof rack is one of the next items on my mod list. I will be watching to see how this turns out.

Ugh, that sucks. Hopefully he has gotten his act together. I guess we will let MStudt be the ginny pig and watch to see how it turns out :snacker:
