Custom Box Installed -- Pics

I just had this box custom built to fit in the rear compartment so I could still fold down the seats without having to move a lot of things. In addition, I got the amp mounted in the back of the rear seat so it wouldn't take up any room. My goal was to keep the car as factory looking as possible, thats esp why I didn't change headunit as well. Tell me what you think.

This is what I have:

1. Scion 6 disc in-dash headunit

4. 10" Alpine Type R Subwoofer powered by --

Vented box is $350 with carpeting and install. Amp mounting was $150 with grill and install.

Who made the box and where can I get one?! How does it sound--ie any rattles?

The design for that box is awesome. Even takes up less space than the JL StealthBox, which is really expensive. I am guessing it was custom made, but if I'm incorrect and it's available elsewhere, please let us know.

Nice clean install man. Only thing I noticed is that you lose the 12V outlet in the back. Might not be important to you but maybe to others.

Yeah the 12V really doesnt matter to me at all, I never used it once.

The box was made in Houston, and I don't know if the guy kept the mold or not. Would anyone like me to tell him they are interested and see what he can do about making some more? PM me if you want his # or have any Q's.

Oh yeah... sounds great! ONLY rattle I found was on the gas lid, but I dynamatted that and it doesn't rattle at all anymore.

damn....i want that Box....maybe we can setup a groupbuy on that box...s h i t is nicer then the JL box. does your Type R hit hard in that box?

Hits pretty good, especially since its vented. Since the area is so small, it can only support a 10" sub, but I've been very pleased with the results so far.

The guy who makes the boxes said that in order for him to break even with supplies, labor, etc., he must make at least 20 boxes. If we can get 20, he said the price would be somewhere between $300 and $320.

do you noticed how it sound from the subwoofer from one side? i plan to order some subs also but don't know if i should buy 1 12s or 2 10s. i plan to get only one since i need alot of space due to business use. but would it sound weird if one sub coming from one corner?
