Custom DMV License Plates. Long Wait?!

Got lucky on placing an order late May. I've called DMV a couple times, but its always different answers.

Who else is waiting on plates? When did you place the order?


Had a coworker order in March 2020 and received it late November.

Ordered one in August sometime. Said it would take 12 weeks. Then I logged onto the dmv page in Oct and it said that they were suspended due to Covid. I haven't checked since.

My buddy in Huntington Beach received his last week; almost 320 days from the order using their website. Wow!

I ordered one for another car in early January... nothing received yet.
