Looking good. I think the round tube looks better than the square tube. Have you been able to lock own any measurements for a 4th gen rack replacement that mounts to the roof? I didnt have much luck with my measurements but i can send them to you if you want them. If you do have the size worked out whats a basic full coverage one run for a 4th gen 4runner?

i get a lot of requests for 4th gen racks and i'd love to do one. only problem is i dont know anyone locally with a 4th gen, and building something new like that really needs to be built with the truck right there for numerous trial fits here and there. anyone in NW Fl. looking for a 4th gen?? one day maybe.

Made of 1" and 3/4" STEEL tubing, fully welded, one solid piece. These are extremely sturdy and measure 40"x50". I have measurements to bolt it directly to a 3rd gen, others may have to attach to factory cross bars. Powder coating is optional, as are light tabs, axe/shovel mounts and bolt on or permanently mounted tire carriers. I am trying to build a few of these on the side while my wife is in school, so if you need a nice, solid rack, drop me a line.

Basic rack, bare finish and no tabs or mounts is 225, basic, powder coated wrinkle black 325, thanks all.

Any chance of doing an expedition style rack for 3rd gens: flat in the back for a roof tent with a small basket in front for gear, lights, attachments? Similar to this one from Bajarack?

I had a rack with metal mesh floor like the Gobi Stealth and it was LOUD. If you do this make sure it is welded down in many places. Mine seamed to flex and sounded like a snare drum. I needed bungies just keep it quite.
