Custom shifter knob

Have a 2016 trail and while i like the shifter i am wanting something custom. Has anyone put on a custom shifter and if so was it threaded on and what thread was it?

I got mine from Joel at Ellis precision. Great guy to deal with, excellent product and service. He can laser etch also. Tranny knob is M8, 4wd is M12. http://www.ellisprecision.ca/pages/4runner

The thread size is metric 8mm x 1.25.

I would absolutely buy from Joel. Got the TRD shift and T-case knobs from Ellis and they are 1st rate quality and everything about the transaction was smooth.

I was looking through ebay at some various skull knobs in resin. But now that i see the trd one i likey.
