custom start up sound

I know this questions isn't specific for the 4runner, but I was just curious does anyone know if it is possible to have a custom start up sound via cd player when you start you're vehicle? like when you turn it over and it beeps at you. I currently have a Pioneer AVH-X4500.

only on startup via the key?

yes.

buy a DEI 516L recordable siren.

connect it to the start wire for the trigger and it will trigger the siren each time you start the car.

thanks I might do that... but I was just sort of thinking instead of it being outside the vehicle, making the sound come out of the interior speakers if possible.

you can do that.

if you are versed in how to wire a few relays and depending on how many speakers you want the sound to come out from, you may need a amp. if you had a amp installed already it can be done with a few relays

no amp and one speaker inside will be easy

you not concerned about the siren. you concerned about the module.

google 516L installation instructions and familiarize yourself with that to grasp the concept of how this would work for your application
