I don't know if you accounted for air space in your enclosure but be careful. With you not putting any fleece on your structure, the glass will continue to sag and you will lose inside volume.

Honestly, if I were you... I would start over and use a fleece to wrap your structure with. You will be much happier with your project and have a much better and stronger product. If you have a weak box then the subs will rattle the heck out of it producing a very bad sound quality. I'm assuming this is a sealed box, so that adds to the importance of a sturdy and strong enclosure.

Looks good so far and a great idea, but not trying to burst your bubble. In you first pick you showed 2 subs facing each other. That means when you have them both on sound cancellation will happen and it will sound like crap. If your are just mounting one, keep going!

Subs will not cancel each other out if they are facing one another. In fact, you won't even tell a difference in sound at all.

Well its been super long since i did anything with this but this weekend i was able to start on it again since my mr2 is basically done for now.
Im on the 4th coat of bondo face is getting really close then just the two sides and its ready to be wraped.
