I have seen some nice systems on here. I am currently looking into putting one in myself. I have seen 3 or 4 real clean set ups in the 4th gen. I have a 4th gen and would like everyone who has had a custom system intalled to post on this thread. I would like to get some ideas. I am looking for as clean as possible. I am currently debating on whether i should have a shallow mount 8" installed in stock JLB location or to have a 8" W3 JL (would def have to be brought out a bit and would lose the stock grill but would be a kick a$$ system i feel. Let me know what you think.

Would it be hard to locate the ipod connection through to the center compartment. I know you had the usb hookup which looks good but i would probably have that in the center compartment as well.

Crutchfield is the most expensive out there....but if you have problems, they are there to help which is nice. Be careful though as they are not aware of all the connectors available. Also, they won't have a standard replacement for the stock sub as that is custom.
It's not that hard to locate the Ipod or USB connectors anywhere. I did opt for the USB extension and mounting kit which helped.
