My dad also has a 2002 sport with 70k on it.

OP, FWIW, this is one of THE best 4Runner forums on the net. It has been around for ages, so with that, there are tons of build threads to read through. If you really want some inspiration, look through some build threads. To help, I've linked a couple of my favorites that I have bookmarked, so I can reference them for inspiration or for specific posts.

I've spent alot of time looking at people's build threads which really inspires me, and thanks for the links!
I guess the reason i started posting threads for questions, is because i honestly didnt know they were already answered in similar threads haha. And i didnt know how easy it was to search for them. So now i know, Thanks guys! By the way, Does anyone know what the guy meant in this thread: http://www.speedysgarage.net/sportrunner/custom_grille/projectsportrunner_custom_grille.htm , of the part he bought on Ebay to be able to mount the 98 sotashi grille on a 1999+? I really need to know what he means, because i want to do it on a 2002 4runner. And i already got a free 97 grille from my friends 4runner.

The body changed from 98 to 99 in some visible ways so that's why it's mentioned so often. The most obvious is the fat lip bumper.
If you can fiberglass enough to do your own Satoshi then you can make your box from a mix of fiberglass and mdf. That's what I would recommend after building one myself.
Also no offense to t4r if you are looking for more opinions on audio there is always diyma. I wouldn't post up there personally but it's a good place for reading technical information.

The part or the "grille insert" he is talking about is the grille itself. You don't need to purchase anything else for it to fit. Your 97 grille should snap right in.

Moral of the story is to search. We all know you're not searching like you say you are, or you'd find the information you're looking for. Google is your best source, and you've been told that multiple times just by myself.

The reason mine are tall and the subs are in the front is they are also my storage solution for the rear of my truck. If I put the subs at the rear, I'd lose a ton of storage space.

OK. My honest opinion would not be building a box around the wheel wells. Try to do something a bit most custom like a fiberglass enclosure behind the panels. Find a sub that will work with about .75 cubic feet and stuff to box with poly fill. By doing this you won't be wasting your cargo space. There will come a time when you need that space, and you won't have it. There is honestly no need for a 3 cubic foot box these days. Back in the day when it was nearly impossible to find something that ran under 1.5 cubic feet sure. Now you should be able to fine something that runs with about .5 cubic feet. I know Polk's run in small enclosures.

I really dont know if i will go with building a whole encloser because it does take up more space..

It's a great thread with plenty of inspiration and plenty of knowledge to be shared via updates, how to's and links to other threads you started (e.g., wheel painting 101!)
A helpful tool for all. As are most build threads around here. I just picked a few along with your in my personal arsenal to help get this dude on the right track!

What myself and others were just trying to emphasize is doing a bit more research but really more specifically trying to search for some of the answers.
I do sympathize with how frustrating it can be if you don't know enough to talk the talk but I think if you are patient and keep at it you will find this to be a very welcoming community. We can sometimes make some jabs or jokes but overall people are pretty nice.

That box is really sweet! I looked to see if you have a build thread and couldn't find any proof of existence (at least on pg 1 of search) but you don't have any links in your signature which is where people normally post their build thread link.

You can use the same amp for both, just switch the red and black wires on one of the subs. When one is pushing, the other will be pulling.
