Cut Studs on Bilstein/Toytec Strut

The forum member I bought these from had to cut one of the studs on both of the struts to get them off of his truck. Does anyone know if the stud itself can be removed and replaced or does the whole top piece need to be replaced?

Only way to know is disassemble the strut and see if you can get that cut bolt out. That's what I would do f it were mine.

Disassemblethe shock then you should be able to hit them out with a hammer, its just a pressed in stud, i would go to a specialty bolt supplier or get in contact with toytec and have them sell you some new studs. Shouldn't be to hardto get the old studs out or in being the top hat is machined from quality aluminum
