Hello Everyone.

I am planning to replace my CV axle on my passanger side, I am planning to purchase the Cardone HD versions off rock auto. I have seen a few comments in other posts about the Cardone Axles not being an exact fit with the factory seal size. Does anyone know the part number for the seal required for the passenger side axle using a Cardone replacement?

I think the issue there is blowing the old seal during removal and installation. I have 2 cardone axles on my rig, and I did replace the seals just as a precautionary measure since they were ten years old. OHIO principle= Only Handle It Once, so it made sense to just change them and be done with it. Not sure about the experience of others, but mine were oem remans from cardone, I imagine some people may have received reman after market when ordering these. Check out Detroit Axle CVs, they are oem reman for a lot less than cardone. As to the part number of the seals, they differ from driver to passenger side, I just went to my dealership and said sell me these and they looked it up.

which seal are you talking about? the differential? yes, driver and passenger are of different sizes. i have one driver side seal i can sell you. if you are interested, let me know.
