CV Axles?? want new ones....

I got one from napa and one from Toyota. Toyota and napa uses cardon remanufactured axels BUT I found that napa's are a mix of top grade(what Toyota sells) and lower grades so I would not recommend napa just because it's a coin flip on what you may get. I paid $95+tax for the new axel I got from Toyota with a $50 core napa was much cheaper but again one that I got wasn't up to my expectations.

Iirc rock auto also sells cardone.

I want to say they were just over 100 a pop. Give them a call for current pricing. If you want the red cv boots it's a bit more.

Just like stock, but better if you get the silicone (red) boots.
You're already in CO so pick them up and save on shipping.

CVJ work out to ~$140 with the extended length silicone boot + shipping & core deposit.

I just picked up a replacement Detroit Axle to give it a try. $49 shipped with no core charge and claim a lifetime warranty. Rebuild quality seems decent, time will tell though.

But if you are running MAX lift the the extended length silicone boots from CVJ might be the best option.

RockAuto, $45 new not remaned, not had a single issue with it. In fact it looked to be made much better than the one I took off. I know that a few other guys have been using them for some time as well and not had a single issue with them. Plus, for under $50 who can complain!?

I went with CVJ with the upgraded red boot. $144 + $85 core + $25 shipping to GA. Great customer service.

Replaced the driver due to torn boot. Still hundreds cheaper than shops wanted to charge me. Will be replacing passenger side in the next few weeks to match.

I agree. I had about 75k on mine. It was cheaper to buy new than rebuild the old. I kept my old ones just in case the rockauto ones failed, but they are still sitting in my garage collecting dust.
