CV boot hack?

My OME lifted 2002 Sport has torn a CV boot a time or two despite having lowered the front diff. I decided to occasionally lubricate the boots with Balistol spray. I think it's working. Have not had a torn boot for a while but time will tell.

If you are not familiar with Balistol look into it. It has a cool history. Great for guns etc. and is great on rubber. I am thinking it lubricates the edges of the boot and keeps the rubber like new while decreasing friction.

I suggest buying it on Amazon in the full can and use the pump spray. It's cheaper that way.
