So after my CV boots started leaking after the lift install, the drivers side let go and tore in half. I got a boot from Auto Zone but apparently you are suppose to but off the boot section of the old boot, and leave the inner mount portion of the stock boot and put the new boot over it and tighten it down. I goofed and cut off the whole stock boot before even opening the box of the new boot. So I'm going to have to go to the dealer tomorrow and get a new boot. Question is, what color should the grease be? Mine was a gray color.
