CV Boot Issues Again

About a year ago I blew out by driver side CV boot and had it repaired. Fast forward to now and both CV boots are gone and the entire front axle is being replaced as it is cheaper and faster that way. I do off road (Ouray & Moab) and have a bunch of upgrades on my rig to include a 3" lift and off road bumpers. I do some pretty cool trails but nothing crazy ... at least not in my mind. I am sure my wife disagrees.

My question is has anyone else run into this issue? Also, would anyone have a recommendation for off road axles?

2015 and 35K Not many miles at all. My hope is the new stock axle will fix any potential defects the original one had. If not, a more expensive off-road one may be in my future. The mechanic also showed me the issue. They are not torn but slipped.

Do you have a diff drop? The angles of your cv may be a little extreme with 3 inch lift and no diff drop.

Get these. It will save you frustration. My truck is pretty jacked up on the coilovers due to running 35's and now 37's. The angles at droop and full lock kept pulling my boots to pieces. I would go thru a set of boots in months. Then I got these orange ones. Three years now. No boot destruction!

Indeed sounds like a man-defect. And I agree with the other comments. The oraange boots are on my list when I have to pull everything apart, and the diff drop is a must above 2". I know that is argumentative with some on here, but it is cheap insurance that has zero negative side effects.

I do. Liking the CV boot option link below as a next step when/if it happens again. Really don't wont to get an off-road axle if I don't have too.
