if you start getting a clicking sound then it's going bad. Have you had torn boots for a while? CV's are pretty tough to break.

no torn boots. had before but was fixed. No clicking but a noise when turning not a clicking noise. I am having a problem diagnosing this issue thats why I thought maybe when you turn there is stress exerted on the CV that would cause it to make noise.

clicking when turning is a cv fail...

No clickin noise. I have a like a rubbing noise, maybe. its hard to describe. The moment I turn the steering wheel of center it starts, could it be wheel bearings.

Do you have a suspension lift? If so, how much? Too much can put the CV's at an angle and cause them to wear and fail, depending on the type of driving.
