CV play and diff leak

Crawled under my runner to check things out today and noticed a bunch of oil around the inner CVD also seen the inside boot is torn this was replaced 2 years ago and I have lifetime warranty on it so I'll swap it out again but what concerns me is the in/out play which is about 3mm 2x that of the other CVD. I don't recall replacing the seal the first time I did this swap. Is there anything else I should look at? Will do the CVD/deal swap next weekend.

Make sure to get the oil seal from the dealer.

90311-47013 and 90311-47012 are the OEM number for the Front CV seals. OEM seals are made by "NOK" and fake ones are made by "KOK".

As stated above, a little bit of play is quite normal. As long as the snap ring clicked into place at install, everything is fine. Those seals are really touchy. Maybe you nudged it a bit when installing the CV's. They're really cheap, though. Much better than the rear seals...
