"D" light out

Drive "D" light on dash is out on my 99 Limited. P,R,N,2, and 1 light up but no "D". Is that real hard to fix or would it be easier to just not worry about it?

Gear indicator on dash came out in 1998.

I like the fact that my light is out, in fact I am purposely not fixing it. It was sooo bright at night.
