Just picked up a second gen rear bumper, anyone in the area willing and able to help get it on for me? I have a trip planned (yes in the 4runner) this weekend so naturally i'd like to get it on this week. I'll buy beer. PM me.

what exactly do you need to weld, i.e. why wouldn't it simply bolt onto your 4Runner?

You want a 3rd gen rear bumper?

Alright I already took the sawzaw to it, The brackets on the 2nd gen have like a 6 inch drop on them, I'm guessing since the frame is higher in comparison to the body on the second gens, even with the way i cut the brackets so they were straight I could only get one bolt in the frame with the length of the bracket on the bumper. this picture is before I cut the brackets

After I cut the brackets this is how the bumper fits in the frame.

Please do help haha
I hate the gap so im thinking about making a cut on the frame so I can move the bumper up right here. either that or add some sheet metal to get rid of the gap. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!
