leaves cant heandle the heavy wet snow.

This came damm close to my truck, good thing I wasnt in the spot on the right.
It would made a fair amount of damage to my truck .

On another note, after a short drive. I cut the gray wire on my abs module, Ill be adding a button switch as soon as the weather clears up.
The abs in this truck is dangerous in the snow !!
( I have brand new tires too btw )

Damn man! Lucky. A caved in roof means you'd be shopping for a new rig. We had a similar problem out here in CO, lots of broken trees. Thank god for my garage.

+1 on the ABS. I am pretty sure ABS is designed to help rather than hurt but I grew up on vehicles that never had it so I just find it super hard to drive with it. I also found traction control a nightmare on the 01 I had. Thank god I ditched it for my 00.

Ya ive owned alot of vehicles and never had a issue with abs. On the 4runner its great on dry and wet pavement. But in the snow its just horrible !

Reason 100000 why I park in the garage... Also the reason I am not lifted =(

Ya I have a garage but my 01 maxima stays in there. Next house I buy is going to have a 2 car minimum...

With my 1.5" lift the runner does fit in the garage, but any more lift then I have I don't think it would happen.

now is probably a good time to verify that your auto-insurance doesn't have one of those clauses "acts of god or nature are not covered" because some insurance places slip that in there to make sure they don't have to pay out if a tree falls on the truck or a hail storm causes major damage.

We'll luckily the truck made it though ok. But speaking of insurance, it seem like they always try to weasel out of paying after the wacking you with a fat bill every 6 months.

Ill be sure to check my policy for clauses...

you must have the smallest garage in the world... I fit in mine with 5" of lift and a roof rack :D lol

and to the OP good job picking the right spot for the night!

I do it by the month... on my 03 V8 its 110.03... for October's payment to insurance it was 83.63.... they didn't catch it :D (the 83.63 was for the old 03 Highlander I had)

Any ways, be thankful you didn't park there. I only have a shed but there are no trees around :D Plus it's made out of steel do if a tree limb did hit it, I would be good.
