SK I have a 2021 limited with about 1700 miles and I am getting a vsc off with a pre collision brake system unavailable flashed on for a few seconds I had to record it to slow it down and read it. Any idea as to the problem before I bring it to the dealer?

Did the master warning light come on?
What were the outside conditions when this happened?
Did you have dynamic radar cruise control engaged at the time?

So no master warning...cruise is off just started the vehicle and shifted into gear. Sunny no precipitation.

Make sure your TSS sensors are clean: camera at the top center of the windshield and no bug splatters on the radar sensor on the front grill (the radar sensor is behind the Toyota emblem).

It seems that if I put it into drive before the 4runner icon comes up it flashes on the screen, but not every time.

So, if no other lights, camera and radar area clean as [MENTION=609789]fkheath[/MENTION] noted, I would log info (as you remember) and take it in.
Better they have it logged and/or fix now than later on.

If the lights come on for such a short time, the system is probably just initializing; there would be nothing to worry about.
