I just ran the part number for the clock out of a 01 4 runner and that part number only pulls up 96-2002 4runners. If Toyota used the exact same part it would be the same part # under different vehicle options. looking at the picture i see the housing is different on the 2 clocks. I wish I could help. you may have to swap the housings. As you can see with |Toyota it is all one unit. I hope this helps some!

If you clock has failed, you might want to try and repair it. I have like 5 dead ones in garage. Would pick them up at junk yards. Finally soldered mine up and its working good.

i had found a post some time ago about the taco clock being amber, but no mention as to what year fits.
