Dash has constant beep and warning lights come on...

Wuddup my fellow 4runners?

I got an '02 sport to rock as my daily driver. About 200k on the clock. Runs great!!

I had an issue a few weeks ago where for no reason a few of the warning lights came on and there was a loud constant beep emitting from the dash. About 20 seconds and it ceased.

Then a few days ago the same thing happened. except it did it for like ten minutes while on my way to work. I just turned up the jams, lol.

The truck did not exhibit any bad signs. Everything was perfect, weather, speed, everything. The truck ran perfect before it happened, during it, and after it.

the abs light being on is most likely tripping the vsc and trac lights, so get the code the abs is throwing (probably a wheel speed sensor or something), fix that and the other 2 lights should go out as well.

not sure what the beeping is.

Contant Beep

Hi,
I have an 04 Runner and my truck starting doing this very same thing yesterday. The brake light came on with a long constant beep.

What did your issue turn out to be?

I experienced that exact same issue on a 02 limited. It ended up being the brake master cylinder. A new replacement is $1600 I found a used one for $125.
