dash help please

okay so these are not the best pictures but my dash is flapping up in that area
before i open everything up to fix it i was wondering has any one had this problem? any suggestions on how to fix this?

damm dude. I haven't seen that before. Have you tried contacting a restoration place? I know the dealership will try to sell you a whole new dash piece.

no i havent, i dont have the money for some one else to do it :ybrick: i was hoping i could hold it down possibly with a rivet but im not sure exactly how it was originally held down until i take it apart
