Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster.
I was driving a few nights ago and my dash lights and taillights went out. I thought it was just a blown fuse and was going to be a simple fix. I popped a new fuse in and it blew as soon as I turned the lights on. So I think I have a short somewhere.
I did some searching and found out there has been several threads on this so I tried he usual places. I pulled out the aftermarket stereo and everything looked fine. Then I went to the taillights and looked there. Once again everything looked normal. With both the stereo and taillights disconnected I put another fuse in and it still blew. I don't have any wiring to the trailer hitch which is what usually causes this from what it looks like.
I was wondering if you all had any suggestions on where to go from here. I'm a broke college kid and I really don't want to take it anywhere unless I have to.
