dash lights stopped dimming on headlight "on"

anyone know what might be causing this?

i replaced some lights on the HVAC console and now nothing dims when I turn the headlights on (stays on daylight bright). no radio, dash, hvac etc...

it's almost like there's a fuse or relay somewhere. i tried unplugging the battery for a while, that only forced me to reset all my radio stations. ugh!

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I just thought it was funny that some of us actually mod this so the lights DON'T dim when the lights are turned on. Hope you sort this out.

what happens is that the lights on my radio buttons don't come on. and i can't see them!

also... everything else. so bright!!!

I think you know what the cause is, something to do with the lights you replaced. Pull it back apart and you'll likely find the problem. Should be an easy fix though.

Just maybe

Have you checked that you accidentally didn't turn the rheostat all the way up? It will drive you nuts.

so i found out that my tail lights aren't going on when I turn the headlights on either. this is now a safety issue.

anyone?
