dash lights

how do you change the dash lights that come on at night to light up your speedometer odometer etc etc. I wanna change the light color. how do i do this and where can I find new lights.

Also, anyone know how to change the dome light(map light whatever) in the front of the car.

I have a 1992 4WD v6 3.0 if any of that matters. thanks guys.

Another way of doing is buying colored gel caps from auto zone or pepboys or Napa, I got them from napa. they are like 1$ and work well. just take the dash apart and remove the lights on the back of the gauges take the green gels off and slip the new ones on...takes about 20 minutes. I did this also with the key light ring and with the A/C lighting to match.

I have the indiglos got them off ebay... they are white in the day and blue or green whichever you prefer.. they where very easy to install.

were you able to disassemble your Dash? to get to your instrument gauge cluster? if so can you tell me how? also how many bulbs and and what kind there were inside.
I have the same year as your 4runner and there are a few bulbs dead.
