Dashboard cam?

I've been using the Panorama S (capacitor version) for 2+ years now with zero problems. Good quality video, slight fisheye-type lens to it so it captures a wide angle, and simple setup. I hardwired it into a 12V in the overhead as the power draw is insanely small. Downside to the capacitor is no video when the vehicle is parked. Upside is not having to worry about a battery having to survive humid summers and frigid winters of the midwest.

I use a Grdian cam. Works great. I also have the GPS base for it. Some rides in Mexico were interesting to see the speed etc

Cam

Anyone use or got a set up that they recommend for 5th gen?
Thank you

Extremely pleased with the DOD LS470 model I'm using. Tucks nicely behind and just to the right of the rear view mirror (I use the suction cup mount). Supplied power wiring is actually the perfect length to tuck from there across the front of the headliner, upper windshield over to the rubber trim (under) running down to the drivers footwell / dead pedal area then diagonally under my weather tech floor liner to the side of the seat and up into the centre console plugged into the 12V socket.

Automatically comes on / turns off with the ignition then, the unit really provides the perfect outward view from there, nice wide angle 1080p, crisp and great at night. I really like the software which they use, GPS map overlay option and other things on the cam which you can turn off (speed, other data).

I really bought it however because it supports a 64gb memory card, I had a constant power source to it in our Jeep, left it on once and it went 24hrs without filling up the card. It comes with an 8gb card.

Any of these dash cams come with wifi capability?
Meaning, can I stream live video from the cam if my car is close enough?

Haven't installed mine yet, but I have the Anker Roav dash. They go on sale all the time and have great reviews! Anything by Anker is generally gold

My Viofo A119 keeps giving me memory card errors despite using one of the approved memory cards and making sure it is formatted

My only other complaint with it is that when it's really hot the picture is blurry

I had a papago gosafe 200,
but the mount was squirrly at best. It was also showing it's age a bit.

I'm currently looking at the garmin 55 to replace it.
