Dashboard Removal

Hi all,

Has anyone had issues with their dashboard being gouged easy?
I have a 03 Sport and there seems to be numerous gouges everywhere. I'm contemplating having a local dealership replace it, but concerned the removal steps would likely cause other issues. If anyone has had this issue or can give insight on the removal procedure, would greatly appreciate.

To say the dashboard is "tender" is not an overstatement. If yourub it hard it leaves a mark. I've seen several posts here with people saying they've scratched theirs just cleaning it. I coubt replacing will be a long-term solution as a factory replacement will probably result in the same look after awhile.

Mine is still pristine but is only two months old. Just awaiting my first real scratch.

Thanks for your reply, was able to locate previous posts.
I had it in the dealership for seat rattling issue, problem still there, but now I have a scratched door panel ( removal of seat). Now that needs to be replaced.
