I am looking for a good quality dashmat for my 06 T4R SR5 and asking for suggestions. Anyone have one they are really pleased with?

Any particular reason you want one? Dashmats are pretty dated and the dash materials in modern cars don't really need the protection.

Someone I know made fun of me and tried to make me feel foolish for having my dashmat and I got the same story that dashmats were kind of 1980-ish, then I watched that guys beautiful brand new Denali go from showroom new to a broken down heap of junk in less than a year. That Denali now looks like a bunch of homeless people have been living in it. I didn't give it much of a thought when I got my dashmat, the day I took delivery on my '05 4Runner, I went over to the parts department in the service center of my Toyota dealer, picked out the color that I wanted and they put it in for me a few days later when it arrived. I like it. It was a perfect fit. It lays nice, flat and flush, not like some I've seen that are all bubbly and ragged looking. I also like that I can toss stuff up there and the dashmat prevents things from sliding from side to side every time I make a right or left turn. I don't have any speakers on my dash though, I don't know how it would work if you have the audio system with those 3 speakers in the dash. I don't remember how much I payed for it, but I know that it wasn't much. Note: I don't have any small children. I just had mine put in because I like it. Old skool or whatnot. I do my share of driving in mud and snow, (I just got back last night from a week of off-roading in NoCal), but I send my 4Runner out every week for detailing (It's going in today),and it still looks like it did the day they peeled the protective tape off the hood and doors.
