Thanks for the invite but I won't be around til Friday. There is literally 0 legal wheeling within driving distance of boston so I can't wait to be back in nc for the weekend.

Well the 4runner is undergoing some pretty good front end work with a little modification here in the next week or two.Needless to say I'm going to be itching to do some wheeling by the end of August/ beginning of sept.
Would anyone be down for a trip to potts mtn for the day? been wanting to go for a while and that would be a great place to break it in!

Hey guys, just found this thread and I'm glad I did. I'll keep an eye on it and I'd like to meet up with y'all sometime. I've gone to URE a few times, but have avoided Daniel (and prob will while I'm still making payments!). My gf likes to go to the Boone/blowing rock area so I'd like to run some of those trails as well.

Pott's Mtn is probably further than I'd be able to ride for a day trip, but we're going Uwharrie on Aug 17th if your truck will be ready by then. Come out!

I doubt it will be done by then, but there is the possibility that it will not be started by then:doh:

My family and I are potentially moving out to W.NC in the next 3-6 months or so. I was stoked to see there is a moderate/easy trail nearby. Eastern Nebraska really doesn't have much to wheel, and while I would pick the easy line the first few times, I just want to get out there and get started.

Seems like a good community you guys have there. Looking forward to meeting y'all.

My gf,son, and I took at spontaneous daytrip to Boone today. We went down Richland rd, but didn't see any trails or dirt roads that weren't "private" or "no trespassing". We'll have to meet up with you next time to find out we we're supposed to go.

there is a lot of no trespassing signs near the start of the road. those are for everything on either side of the road, not the road itself.
It can be confusing, especially at some points farther down the road if you have never been before.

We turned around just past the private bridge near the end of the road. I was soooo tempted to drive through the creek and up the other side, but again, no trespassing signs were posted. Looking forward to heading back up there in the not so distant future.
