Daystar 2.5/1.5 question

I just ordered the Daystar KT09115BK and have a question. The pic looks like the front portion is simply a top out spacer, but I swear I've read about people saying that it's got both a top out and a preload spacer to achieve the 2.5" total lift. Can anyone clarify this?

Also, I'm installing this on my factory X-REAS, will I be able to use the no spring compressor method? I'm thinking that if it has a preload spacer I might need a spring compressor...

My Daystar kit was the top spacer only. I didn't use any kind of compressor. Just watch your abs cables, they're very fragile!

I think early versions had both the top-out and preload spacers, but the current spacer is just top-out.
