Just a heads up. I ordered the Daystar 2.5" lift kit for my '05 4Runner and the spacers are different than others on here describe or their sites show. I called Daystar and spoke with Don who confirmed there was a design change. There's no preload spacer any longer for the front. It's all top-out. I guess now I don't need to worry about renting the coil compressors.
The kit I ordered is KT09115bk, but that is just a combo pack that includes front and rear, so the front only kit (KT09116) is changed like this also.
Hope this keeps anyone else from getting surprised and confused like I did.
BTW, I finally did get my White '05 V8 Sport T4R after shopping & searching forever. Only 29k miles for a great deal from a chevy dealer that had no idea what options it had or what it was worth. Awesome. Sometime I'll start a thread with pics before and after the mods I have planned. In the meantime I'm just stoked I got it. My wife and I have both had toyotas before and this one meets/exceeds expectations. Love it.
