Daystar Leveling Kit-Preload Coils??

As the title says, does adding the Daystar spacers in the front preload the coils?

I read on their website that it doesn't, but I've read several posts/threads here that say something different. And, if does preload, I would assume that will cause premature wear on the coils, correct...?

Backstory: I want to level my Runner, but don't want to abandon the Xreas because it's still in good shape and I love the ride so that limits me to spacers.

which kit do you have? 2 spacers and stud extenders or 4 spacers and longer bolts?

Good to know. thanks for the info!

I really wouldn't mind getting a true lift, but like I said, I struggle with dumping the Xreas because it was the selling point for me...

Thanks again.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this.. Ive thought about it many times, but that XREAS is soo nice on-road that I may in the future just go with the same 115bk kit.

Yep! I was thinking what will I do if the system takes a dump? I'll just fix it!!

But who knows, maybe I would be happy with a nice 3" lift and some billsteins.
Nah, I'm spoiled...

Hit the nail on the head.. I Have had 2(Sorry for taking your thread off topic a little bit) Audi allroad twin turbo Avants, and the Factory adjustable Air-Ride suspension has spoiled me so much that when I looked at purchasing a 4th gen. XREAS was at the TOP of the list.. :thumb:

Oh man, those Audi's are pretty sweet! Have you ever watched a show called, R U Faster Than a Redneck? These guys in American muscle cars race imports on a road course track and one car they raced was a modified Allroad Audi Avant and it kicked their arse!! It was pretty sweet! (And BTW, I'm off topic too! )

Yeah funny show.. The Audi which raced in that series was an S4 Avant.. same engine/tranny and whole nine, BUT..It doesn't have the wide body(Panels) or the adjustable suspension.. AWESOME nonetheless.. :naughty:
