Dealer pimped out the smell of my car...

With yellow vanilla air freshener trees. I can't get this smell out of my mind and out of my 4Runner...

What is the best new car smell or nutralizing freshoner you recommend or you like to use in your rides?

If you wanna remove the smell completely then air the car out, drive with the windows open, leave it parked with the windows open (weather permitting of course) and soon it will be smelling like normal.

I had to get a smell out before and cant remember the name of product I used but was something stupid like Ozone or something like that.

I used a steam cleaner w Bissell lavender in it (dont judge me!) and i use these things called Wonder Wafers that go under the seats, "new car smell" is my fav scent.

You can run an Ozone Generator in the car overnight too.
They can be rented locally and some fire stations have one to borrow. They are typically used to get cigarette smells and smoke out of houses. Works great on pet smells too.

i happen to love the smell of the "black ice" trees i believe they are.

cat had an accident in the 4th gen (in her kennel) on the way to mother-in-law's......it masked that stench nicely for the last 45 minutes.

buy some squash air spencer from You are being redirected... and leave it in the car, put ur ac on blast and have that freshener near the vent, leave windows up and enjoy the fresh scent going through the whole truck, otherwise use some frebreeze and the coat the whole interior up, or go back to the dealer and have them clean and detail ur car, since u didnt authorize them to make ur car smell bad right? its like the dealer lets u go to his house, does it mean u can sleep with his wife? same thing with the truck, u take it there for service but u dont let them do anything else to her.

Just put some dryer sheets in there overnight and it should smell like clean clothes by morning. thats the fastest and cheapest way.

Very true. I think you can get it at Advance Auto Parts and Autozone. It smells pretty bad for a couple minutes and once it does its thing it makes the car odorless.

Whenever my car starts to smell I always put 4-5 Downy sheets all around. Close the window, park in the sun, and by the end of the day it will smell great! Best of all when finished you can re-use them as drier sheets!!

I use two "My Shaldan" (Lemon) air fresheners. I put one on each back door's cupholder. Fits snug in there.
