Dealer programming changes?

Whoa...is this a thing they can do? I'm somewhat new here, and hadn't ever seen that. Does anyone know if this is only for the regular keyed ignition models or does it work for Smart Key (limiteds) as well?

I have a '16 Limited. When the truck is running, put it in any other position than park. So I put mine in Drive, press the push start button and then I shift it back to Park. The radio will still be on unless I open the driver side door.

Thanks. I had no idea it worked like that. So is that the normal behavior from the factory or did you get the dealer to program it to do that?

It's from factory. I have the dealer scan tool and software. I program modules/computers as a side hobby. I'll load up the software and connector my scanner one of these days and mess with my settings again. I adjusted a few of the options and it's been helpful.
