Debadging

Did this in the parking garage on a 2010 SR5 and it took about 5-10 on each side. I noticed it left some latent images, but some soap/water did the trick and looks great

How would you go about "re-badging" the 4runner??

I was thinking about popping mine off and hitting them with some flat black spray paint and putting them back on. Any suggestions?
Howdy, just curious but do you know about plasti-dip? great way to black out unwanted chrome badging...but then why not just debadge...looks good even on a pro

Hey all,

Can I just get quick confirmation from someone? Is it pretty much still blowdryer and floss/fishing line for 2020? I think I'm going to take mine off soon too before there is any ghosting. Thanks!

I use plain old string and works fine. Just let it come off straight otherwise the letter itself can dig into the paint. Found out the hard way few years back
