Sold my 04 back in Oct and added the MB Sprinter Cargo. Converted it to a mini camper/moto hauler. Loving the 23 MPG compared to 16 ouch!

not to thread jack, but do you have a build thread for the Sprinter? Very cool idea.

Sure haven't but should have. It's been a total transformation from tin can like cargo van to luxury mini RV.

I couldn't agree more. No one knows exactly how one's situation is, financially, personally and more. While saving $150.00 a month means nothing to others, it does big deal to someone else.

That said, if you will be happier with the dollars saving with new vehicle, just follow your heart. But, before you do ask yourself if you will never need to use the runner to tow or pull something in the future, i.e. trips up the hills in Wyoming with your bikes tied to the back...

You need to do what is right. I sold my 4Runner since i wasn't doing much offroad anymore and didn't anticpate doing any in the near future. I wanted something that fit my needs more. So I ended up buying a '14 VW Touareg and ordered a '15 Porsche Cayenne TT. I went from no car payments to new large payments.

Another thing to consider is the depreciation that the newer car will have. The Runner will depreciate much slower in the next few years because its older. Try seeing what a three or four year old version of what you want is worth to get an idea.
