I have parked next to this 4runner several times in Santa Barbara, so I figured I'd snap a couple photos with my new camera (Casio EX-Z750). One of these days I want to take a pic next to a 4runner w/ the Toyota Sport Bumper Trim for comparison next to my T&H bull bar.

A lot of people say black is a bad color to have because it looks so dirty. Well, maybe up close that is true but I have been pleasantly surprised by how good my 4runner looks when it is dirty. In this photo it is beyond dirty and I haven't washed it in weeks and you can still see a reflection on the side. Granted I'm biased.

yeah I use my pen all the time to jot down gas (gallon/miles) info to check my gas mileage *hehe*

:flipoff: Thanks for pointing out that I have no money! Jerk! Just Kidding. :jump: If you've noticed, I haven't spent much money on the 4runner lately, so yes "those are the big bills". No seriously though, I really vary the order I put the bills. They're random when I'm lazy or in a hurry. Big bills on the outside when in Vegas. Little bills on the outside when I'm in a bad neighborHOOD.

Once I get my 4Runner I'll be seriously thinking about some of the same mods you've done on yours.

Found the PERFECT pen...

It is the Zebra Telescopic in black and silver 3.5" closed..pulls out to a full length pen...can be used short or long

Wow, you guys are great! Some black lovin' from some fellow owners.......some nice gratitude from snap......and some more generosity from 24runners. Thanks to all of you. Since you all like a lot of what I do, I don't feel as stupid posting another update about Kleenex.....maybe I should though.

• Kleenex: I didn't know that spot under the armrest was for a Kleenex box until I asked on the forum a couple days ago. While I was at Pepboys I picked up a box. Details: $1.50 Kleenex Juniors 65 2-ply tissues 8.4 x 5.8 IN. They fit almost too snug. Update: CLICK HERE to go to a new thread dedicated to this Kleenex topic......

I recently spotted this Kleenex box at Walmart in the checkout line for 97 cents (SKU 003600025390). Note that there are again 65 2-ply tissues however the dimensions are 8.4 x 5.5 IN. A difference of 0.3 inches that makes a difference IMO. The box just fits in there easier. I just realized that those dimensions are of the tissue and not the box. This new box is shorter in length by approximately 0.9 inches. It is also very slightly less thick which actually helps too. Plus, the charcoal grey just blends much better:

Pics from that perspective just scream to me "a 4runner just enjoying the view".

I posted this over in lospri5050's thread and it inspired me to post a similar one of my 4runner. Albiet not as beautiful of a view and the best part of my 4runner's view is in the reflection.

The grey one is the exact one I use. I got it at Walgreens for the same price I think.

Your very welcome. Deciding on mods is how I found T4R.ORG, and is why I stayed, so I figured it would help others if I put all my mods in one place and kept it as detailed as possible. Plus, it is really nice for me to have one location, so when someone asks for something, like pics, I just refer them to this thread.

I think I figured you out.......you work for Zebra and designed this pen specifically for our 4runners! :lmao: When you said "PERFECT" and went ahead and sent it, I had no doubt that it would be awesome. Plus, the style of the last selection you sent me was right on. This cool little pen has a guard that goes over the pen tip when short. So basically, short=closed. Then you extend it, the guard automatically retracts, and it is ready to write. I think it is a little fat for my wallet, but I'm going to try to fit it anyway because I like it so much. Thanks again for hookin' me up. :bowdown:

DD Cargo System & Xtreme Mat

So, way back on Page 10 I posted this:

......As far as the Xtreme Mat goes, I haven't had a chance to instal/test it yet, as I just got all this yesterday. It is a lot lighter weight than I thought it would be, which should make it easier to move up to the Double Decker if need be. One problem though, I got the one for w/out DD, so I think I am going to return it for the w/ DD version. I'll definitely try it out first though. A cool thing that I noticed is that that big ugly Xtreme logo on the mat appears to be very easy to remove. I'll use this post as a place holder, and post more details here once I've got it installed. I think I am really going to like it since I am totally sick of stuff sliding around when I turn/accelerate faster than I probably should.

Update: I tried it out at lunch and it totally didn't fit. Too deep! Here's some pics anyway:

I decided to go out and mess with my Double Decker Cargo Shelf and my Xtreme Cargo Mat that has been sitting in the garage for several months. I just went out there and started taking off that back piece shown in the first picture below. I think I used a 10mm socket. Then halfway thru I decided that was a pretty big gap, that would cost a lot to fill, and that I like to occasionally use my DD shelf, so I put it back together. If you are interested in removing yours CLICK HERE to go to a great thread from people that have removed theirs. I could have just used my Xtreme mat to cover that gap, but I didn't like the idea and effort of taking the shelf and mat in and out when I wanted to use either.

BTW, I wasn't able to return the damn thing thru who I bought it and I didn't try to go thru a local dealer. Maybe I still will. Anyway, I got it to "fit" by folding up the back of it against the back of the DD cargo shelf. And now it fits as shown in the second pic:

The trac off button is only found on 2WD 4Runner's. I guess it just turns the traction control off. The 115V outlet is like an outlet you would find in your house. That would be located in the center console.
