December short notice run - Cleghorn Sunday 12/4 - 9am!

Haha awesome. While you play on Cleghorns dirt roads how about me playing on its asphalt roads and warm up those nsx wheels a wee bit ..

Being you're a friend and an ex NSX owner you can take it for a drive anytime. I have been up the asphalt roads from the 15 to Lake Arrowhead many times. Not sure which is more fun, in NSX on asphalt or the 4Runner on dirt as they are both a BLAST!!:biggrin1:

Hahah. Tacoma needs some love. Oil change, wash, polish, wax, and if I have time I'll be swapping out the front bumper I've had sitting in my garage for damned near a year. 4runner has been getting all the love while preparing for Death Valley and now that I'm DDing the Tacoma I'm trying to keep it's appearance and mechanics up.

Sunday is 4runner alignment, wash, pull skid plates, bang giant dent out of front one, clean up and repaint sliders, and touch up gas skid. If I have time I'm going to strengthen my dirt lights in the back, hook up the flashing module, and hide/clean up the wiring. Need to rewire the switch to reach the front too while I'm at it.

Also, since you're new here. I'm a full time single dad. So I'll be juggling my 7 1/2 year old son while I'm at it. Usually wouldn't be a problem because I'd just let him hang out with my mom, but she's going to be out with friends on Saturday.

i was planning on leaving CM around 745 to get to the exit by 9, heading out the 55→91→15. maybe we can meet somewhere off the 91.. imperial highway, weir canyon? nick where do you live?

I'll be coming from Westminster. My rig is slow as shit though, literally. The freeway to Cleghorn I like max out at 60mph at one spot where it's uphill. Lol.

no prob. there's a dirt lot on the corner of santa ana canyon and lakeview ave, right at the 91 on/off ramp. google maps says it's 50m-1h from there to cleghorn. i'll plan to be there a little before 8 so we can be back on the freeway by 8-810. sound good?
